Lassie and the Spirit of Thunder Mountain is a 1978 family adventure film directed by Richard Michaels. In the film, Lassie, the beloved collie dog, befriends a teenage Native American boy named Charlie who has been orphaned. They team up to save a herd of wild horses from being rounded up by unscrupulous ranchers and to uncover a secret treasure hidden in Thunder Mountain.
